A leading engineering project partner in the UK is seeking a Senior Project Manager with a civil engineering background. This role offers the flexibility to work remotely while leading complex design management efforts for significant transmission projects. The ideal candidate will have engineering qualifications, project management experience, and strong stakeholder management skills. We are Pershing Consultants a human-centric engineering project partner supporting critical infrastructure development across the UK.
We specialise in the project management of energy infrastructure projects including transmission & distribution solar wind energy storage hydrogen and nuclear.
We have a wealth of experience in managing the entire project lifecycle from the initial conceptualisation site selection and feasibility studies to engineering design procurement construction and commissioning.
Our team is well-versed in industry regulations and has a proven track record in delivering projects on time within budget and to the highest standards of quality and safety.
We are supporting the delivery of the Employers Civil Designer (ECD) scope for a major transmission programme comprising multiple converter stations and associated infrastructure.
We’re seeking a Senior Project Manager with a civil engineering background to lead day-to-day design management and co‑ordination through RIBA Stage 4. This is a complex programme of work that will require extensive stakeholder management.
For us your ability to do the job is more important than where or when you do it. We are happy for this role to be based from anywhere in the UK and are open to discussing a working pattern that works for both you and us.
This role will require monthly in person meetings in Manchester or Glasgow.
Whilst our preference would be for this to be a permanent staff role we may be able to consider a contractor arrangement for a minimum of 12 months.
