At Cavendish Nuclear we’re working to create a safe and secure world, together, and if you join us, you can play your part as a Senior Project Manager at our Warrington, Cheshire site.

The role

As a Senior Project Manager, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll be managing complex projects and operating at an advanced level, supporting on well established, Nuclear Defence Project.

Day to day, you’ll:

  • Be responsible for all aspects of projects delivery to desired time, cost and quality restraints
  • Establish and maintain governance arrangements for the delivery of the project, defining clear roles, responsibilities and accountabilities
  • Deliver world class performance by means of employee engagement, continuous improvement and identifying and implementing the latest technology
  • Lead on Health, Safety, Security, Environment and Quality within the project
  • Plan and control finances as a means of driving performance

This role is offered on a full‑time permanent basis and consists of a 37 hour working week. This role offers hybrid working arrangements with 2‑3 days onsite, based in Warrington, Cheshire.

Essential experience of the Senior Project Manager
  • Relevant Experience within a Senior Project Management role
  • Extensive experience of EVM ( Earned Value Management)
  • Awareness of various contracting methodologies (e.g. FIDIC/NEC3, NEC4/JCT etc…)
  • Full project lifecycle experience from bid phase through to close out
