Job Title: Senior Project Manager

Location: West Yorkshire
Salary: 50,000 - 60,000 + Benefits

A market-leading engineering manufacturer is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join its team in West Yorkshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to take ownership of complex, high-value projects in acoustic containers, bespoke enclosures, and wider air management solutions. The role also offers a clear pathway into team leadership and management.

As a Senior Project Manager, you will oversee projects from order through to completion, covering design, manufacturing, delivery, installation, and commissioning. You will work closely with customers, technical teams, and site engineers to ensure quality, safety, and commercial targets are met. After an initial induction, you will progress to leading a team of three Project Managers and one Apprentice, driving standards and continuous improvement.

Duties
  • Managing design, manufacture, and installation of acoustic enclosures and containers
  • Producing project programmes and chairing meetings with customers and stakeholders
  • Overseeing site surveys, risk assessments, and method statements
  • Monitoring budgets, costs, and deadlines, preparing reports and valuations
  • Managing internal teams, subcontractors, and installation staff
  • Leading lessons-learned reviews and driving continuous improvement
Skills and experience required
  • Project management experience in manufacturing, ideally acoustic enclosures or containers
  • Previous experience managing or mentoring a team
  • Strong customer-facing and multi-project management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and excellent organisational ability
  • Flexible to travel and undertake site visits across the UK
