Smart Managed Solutions is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of high-value M&E, fit-out, infrastructure, and refurbishment projects across our client portfolio.

Reporting to the Projects Director, you will own multiple projects from conception through completion, ensuring safety, timeliness, budget adherence, and the highest standards. You will mentor delivery teams and identify opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering M&E, fit-out, building services, or construction projects.
• Strong commercial awareness with responsibility for project P&L.
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Experienced managing projects from feasibility to handover.
• Strong understanding of health & safety and CDM requirements.

Responsabilités

• Lead the successful delivery of multiple projects across commercial and critical environments.
• Manage project budgets, commercial performance, and profitability.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.
• Oversee project planning, procurement, subcontractor management, and delivery.
• Ensure compliance with CDM, QHSE, and statutory requirements.
• Lead project teams, providing guidance, coaching, and performance management.
• Identify and convert new project opportunities to support business growth.
• Produce regular project and financial reports for senior leadership.
• Manage project risks, programmes, variations, and final accounts.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of high-value M&E, fit-out, infrastructure, and refurbishment projects across our client portfolio.

Reporting to the Projects Director, you will take ownership of multiple projects from conception through to completion, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. You'll also play a key role in developing client relationships, identifying new opportunities, and mentoring project delivery teams.

• Strong understanding of health & safety and CDM requirements.
• Able to build credibility with clients and internal teams alike.

Desirable Qualifications

• Degree, HNC or HND in a relevant Engineering or Construction discipline.
• SMSTS and CSCS Manager Card.
• APM, Prince2, MCIOB, MIET, CIBSE or equivalent professional qualification.
• Knowledge of NEC and JCT contracts.
