As a Senior Project Manager you will contribute to the successful delivery of the High Value Weapons Safety & Suitability for Service Test and Evaluation Portfolio. This role is specific to the ETC within Shoeburyness. The Portfolio is one of four programme areas within the Weapons Services & Investments team and is responsible for delivery of assessment activity related to high hazard weapons, munitions, and energetics via live testing and the provision of assurance‑based evidence.
Day‑to‑day, you’ll lead cross‑functional teams and develop close working relationships with customers and direct reports alike, supporting functional leads and wider project stakeholders, working closely with operational and engineering teams is fundamental to ensure that safety of our activities is maintained at all times.
Key customers are based in the Bristol area and other locations around the UK. The ability to travel flexibly is a critical element of the role.

This role is 37 hours per week based at Shoeburyness. Hybrid working patterns are available.
QinetiQ Shoeburyness is a significant test and evaluation facility specialising in defence and security technologies. The site is focused on Environmental Testing including the evaluation of various ordnance, explosives and related systems. Implementing measures to ensure that testing activities comply with environmental regulations and minimise ecological impact.
