Job summary

A leading construction consultancy in Plymouth is seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee the project lifecycle, manage client relationships, and lead multiple concurrent projects. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in construction consultancy project management, strong communication skills, and relevant qualifications. Qualifications

Role Overview

As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading the full project lifecycle from inception to completion.
  • Overseeing design coordination, procurement, budgeting, and cost control.
  • Managing contracts under NEC and JCT frameworks.
  • Identifying and mitigating project risks while maintaining programme delivery.
  • Leading client relationships and stakeholder engagement.
  • Managing multiple concurrent projects and ensuring key milestones are achieved.
  • Driving best practice across project teams and inspiring high performance.
About You

The ideal candidate will bring:

  • Minimum 2 years PQE in construction consultancy project management.
  • MCIOB, MRICS, APM, or working toward chartered status.
  • Strong technical understanding of design, procurement, and construction processes.
  • Proven experience delivering commercial and public-sector projects.
  • Excellent communication and client management skills.
  • Experience using Asta Powerproject or MS Project (advantageous).
  • A proactive mindset with leadership capability and a collaborative approach.
