Job summary

The Management Recruitment Group (MRG) is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead consent workstreams for nationally significant infrastructure and regeneration projects. Hybrid working arrangement offered, with exposure to multidisciplinary teams and high-profile stakeholders.

You will coordinate planners, environmental specialists, engineers and legal advisors, develop consent programmes, monitor progress and drive on-schedule delivery while mentoring junior colleagues.

Qualifications

• Extensive project management experience in infrastructure, utilities or the built environment.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary technical teams.
• Knowledge of DCOs, TWAOs or equivalent consent processes.
• Excellent organisational and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day consent workstreams across major infrastructure projects.
• Coordinate planners, environmental specialists, engineers, land professionals and legal advisors.
• Develop and maintain consent programmes, trackers and project documentation.
• Monitor project risks, issues and dependencies, ensuring programmes stay on track.
• Support stakeholder engagement and multidisciplinary project coordination.
• Deliver post-consent activities, including condition discharge and construction readiness.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to continuous improvement across the team.

You'll work alongside technical specialists to manage programmes, coordinate multidisciplinary teams and ensure complex projects remain compliant and on schedule.
