Job description

Interv_l are representing a leading EV infrastructure business delivering large-scale public charging networks across the UK; from city-centre hubs to on-street charging schemes supporting local authorities.

Were supporting them in appointing an EV Project Manager to lead the delivery of multiple EV charging rollout programmes, ensuring each site is delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest technical standards.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager experienced in civils, electrical, or infrastructure delivery, especially those with exposure to public realm, highways, or on-street installations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the end-to-end delivery of EV charging projects across public and commercial site
  • Coordinate design, civils, electrical, and commissioning teams from planning through to completion.
  • Oversee on-street and destination charging rollouts, ensuring all works meet safety and quality standards
  • Manage relationships with local authorities, DNOs, and highways department.
  • Ensure full compliance with CDM, NRSWA, and local council permitting requirements
  • Monitor budgets, programmes, and resourcing, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery
  • Review design documentation, RAMS, and as-built packs for accuracy and compliance
  • Report on project progress, risks, and key milestones to senior management and clients
What Were Looking For
  • Proven experience managing EV charging, street lighting, telecoms, or highways infrastructure projects
  • Strong knowledge of civils, electrical, and permitting processes
  • Experience working with local authorities or DNOs (advantageous)
  • Strong organisational and stakeholder management skills
  • Full UK driving licence and flexibility for site visits when required
