Senior Project Manager - Cambridge Area

📅 Full-time | 💰 £75k - £85k | 5 days on site required

This is an opportunity to join an innovative technology business at a time of real growth. You'll be taking the lead on complex new product development projects, managing the full lifecycle from concept through to volume production. What you’ll be doing

• Lead multi‑discipline product development projects from concept to delivery
• Apply both Agile and Waterfall methods to hit time, budget, and quality goals
• Build and motivate high‑performing teams
• Identify and manage project risks, dependencies, and priorities
• Communicate clearly with technical and commercial stakeholders
• Drive continuous improvement and maintain project documentation
• Work closely with hardware, software, and operations teams to bring products to market

About you

You’re an experienced Project Manager with a strong technical grounding—confident leading projects that blend hardware, embedded systems, and software. You thrive in cross‑functional environments and know how to bring clarity, focus, and energy to complex programmes.

What we’re looking for

• Degree in Engineering or a similar discipline
• Certified in project management (Prince2, APM, SAFe, IPMA, etc.)
• Proven experience managing full lifecycle product development projects
• Knowledge of both hardware and software delivery environments
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience with external suppliers and Statements of Work

Must have

• Background in telecoms, critical communications, or regulated technology
• Familiarity with EMC/Safety approvals
• Financial awareness (budgets / P&L exposure)
• Eligible for, or able to obtain, SC Clearance
