Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Manchester seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead multi-disciplinary teams on regional defence, aviation, water, highways and rail projects. You will develop delivery plans, manage budgets and schedules, and guide stakeholders from inception through delivery.

Responsibilities include advising clients on costs, risks and programmes, producing regular progress reports, and mentoring junior staff while driving continuous improvement in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams across complex projects.
• Knowledge of best practice project & programme management techniques.
• Chartered, or working towards chartership with the APM, RICS or similar.
• In-depth contract administration knowledge, NEC suite preferred.
• Experience in regulated environments preferable.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of projects from initiation to close.
• Develop comprehensive project plans with timelines, budgets, resources and milestones.
• Advise clients on project cost, programme, risks and issues.
• Lead communications with clients and stakeholders.
• Produce monthly project reports and risk registers.

• As a Senior Project Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role

• Lead and manage multi-disciplinary professional teams on various sectors such as defence, aviation, water, highways and rail
• Lead communications and relationships with clients and their stakeholders
• Produce monthly reports including project programmes, risk registers etc
• Implement effective and efficient communication tools
• Develop delivery plans for projects, involve others and ensure objectives are met
• Challenge the status quo and perform to a high standard in changing environments
