Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager for a hybrid role based in Warrington, UK. The successful candidate will manage large operational technology projects, primarily onsite for three days a week with some travel. Candidates should have a background in construction or engineering and experience with multi-disciplinary teams. This is a six-month contract role inside IR35 with potential for extension.

Senior Project Manager

Location: Hybrid (Site based Warrington) with some remote working.

Contract: Inside IR35.

Hours/Duration: Full time, 5 days per week. Initial 6‑month contract with likely potential to be extended.

The Role

Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join their existing Project Management Team, to assist with a number of large operational technology projects. This engagement is anticipated to last for a minimum of 6 months, working onsite in Warrington for at least 3 days per week. Some additional regional travel may also be required from time to time, and therefore the successful applicant must hold a UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle.

Qualifications

• Well organised and proficient at developing high‑quality documentation.

• Construction/engineering industry experience.
• Knowledge of construction design management contracts (CDM) and/or NEC.
