Senior Project Manager
East Midlands

An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Project Manager to join the Team at Galliford Try.

Ideally you will based in or around the East of England and will have the opportunity to travel across multiple sites / projects in the Region.

As a Senior Project Manager you will play an integral role in directing a multi-disciplinary team to ensure that each stage of the project is safe progressing on time on budget and to the right quality standards.

Participate in creating a knowingly safe working environment

Ensure the companys health safety & sustainability standards are applied on the project

Plan and co-ordinate project prior to commencement

Co-ordinate and control initial set up including initiating Company systems and procedures

Ensure that the principles of CDM are applied on the project

Control and monitor efficient progress of the works.

Liaise with the design team to ensure the design deliverables are received in time for efficient delivery of the site works

Develop and foster collaborative working relationships with the Client Clients Representatives Supply Chain and internal teams

Maintain the culture whereby everyone is continually seeking to satisfy customer requirements

Administer the valuation system maximise cash flow and profitability

Ensure systems are in place in order that quality of work is to the prescribed standards

Plan co-ordinate maintain and develop staff and operative levels to undertake current and prospective workloads

Monitor and record individual performances encouraging and disciplinary as and when necessary.

About You

We are looking for passion strong leadership and a commitment for delivering excellence. If you have a solidexperience delivering complex MOJ Projects as a Senior Project Manager or are ready for this next step as a successful Project Manager then get in touch as we want to hear from you. Wed like to speak to people that are ambitious and have moved up through the ranks to become a solid PM / SPM and who can be an excellent support to the Project Director on site. Obviously youll have the usual good stuff such as an HNC or degree in construction and valid CSCS but we are looking for more than just that-we are looking for the right person to work safely motivate and manage site teams site as well as strive for exceptional levels of performance.
