We're seeking a strategic and experienced Senior Project Manager to lead major capital projects and initiatives across the hospital estate. This is a high‑impact, permanent role offering the opportunity to drive transformation and deliver meaningful change for patients, staff, and communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the delivery of major capital projects aligned to the hospital's masterplan
  • Develop and maintain programme documentation including business cases, risk registers, and benefits frameworks
  • Manage stakeholder engagement across clinical, operational, and external partners
  • Chair project boards and working groups, ensuring governance and accountability
  • Oversee budgets, resources, and timelines to ensure delivery to scope and quality
  • Capture lessons learned and embed continuous improvement across the programme
Ideal Candidate
  • Degree‑level education with PRINCE2 or equivalent project management qualification
  • Proven experience in leading complex capital projects within healthcare or public sector settings
  • Skilled communicator with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders and present to senior audiences
  • Strong planning, budgeting, and analytical skills
  • Collaborative leader with a commitment to excellence, inclusion, and service improvement
