About the team

This is an excellent and rare opportunity to join Cirium's Programme Management Office (PMO) as a Project Manager for a market-leading aviation data and analytics company. The PMO function plays a critical role in driving value across the highest-priority initiatives, fostering exceptional collaboration between Product, Technology, and Data teams to ensure seamless execution and success within an agile environment.

About the role

This is an Excellent opportunity to join Cirium's Programme Management Office as a Senior Project Manager based in the UK. The role is hybrid with 2 days required in the office in either London or Southampton. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing complex projects and programmes within a global technology organisation, coupled with the emotional intelligence to adapt beyond conventional project management methodologies when needed to maximise the value delivery.

Responsibilities
  • Managing projects that require engagement with internal and external stakeholders
  • Contract / relationship management
  • Preparing and presenting information to win new bids.
  • managing large scale, externally focused projects
  • Managing projects that require output from scrum engineering team(s).
  • Management of complex dependency management across multiple squads and cross functional areas.
  • Partnering with other project stakeholders to resolve issues, adapt plan where necessary and to mitigate project impacts.
  • Presenting complex project information at a high level to a senior executive audience
Requirements
  • Lead programmes involving engineering squads, product teams, architects, and data specialists.
  • Navigate complex projects through uncertainty, proactively identifying risks and communicating progress clearly.
  • Present high-level project updates to senior stakeholders with clarity and confidence.
  • Manage dependencies across multiple teams and ensure alignment throughout the delivery lifecycle.
  • Oversee project financials, tracking forecasts and actuals.
  • Adapt project management approaches to suit the needs of each initiative.
  • Champion continuous improvement and value-driven delivery.
  • Foster collaboration, resolve conflicts, and build strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Provide leadership and support to team members, including line management responsibilities.
