Overview

Deltra are working with a large Utilities organisation who are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team and drive major improvements to wastewater treatment works. This is a fantastic opportunity to oversee high‑value projects, guide multi‑disciplined teams, and deliver outcomes that truly matter to communities.

Role
  • Lead projects end‑to‑end.
  • Shape solutions and business cases that meet ambitious project objectives.
  • Develop procurement strategies and oversee specifications and contract documentation.
  • Secure third‑party consents and manage risks to keep projects on track.
  • Collaborate with planning authorities and stakeholders for timely delivery.
  • Champion Health & Safety with a vision of zero incidents, zero harm, zero compromises.
  • Manage contractor performance to deliver on time, cost, and quality.
  • Drive continuous improvement and deliver against stretching targets.
  • Oversee commercial contracts to achieve optimal outcomes.
Requirements
  • Engineering or relevant degree, chartered status, and ideally postgraduate business/project management qualifications.
  • Experience delivering major complex projects (up to £100m) in regulated infrastructure.
  • Must have previous utilities experience.
  • Strong knowledge of contract preparation, tendering, evaluation, and negotiation.
  • Risk‑based and analytical decision‑making skills.
  • Excellent leadership and communication across multi‑disciplined teams.
