Responsibilities
  • Lead large/complex Rolling Stock related, repair, overhaul, and modification projects, as well as business transformation projects to meet time, cost, quality, and safety expectations.
  • Take ownership of project deliverables, ensuring safe delivery and alignment with performance and availability goals.
  • Lead and engage internal and external partners with excellent communication skills.
  • Identify and deploy continuous improvement, enabling each project to be more successful than the last.
  • Identify and manage opportunities and risks, maintaining regional and departmental risk registers.
  • Develop and manage project KPIs to ensure successful delivery.
  • Lead projects within our governance framework for project delivery.
  • Develop clear and concise proposals supporting strategy and overall business goals.
  • Develop the resource plan for projects and build project teams by engaging with Heads of Function and Supply Chain/External Suppliers.
  • Provide objectives to project team members to ensure all deliverables are monitored and achieved in accordance with the plan.
  • Operate requirements management, claims, non‑conformance cost, and lessons learned processes on all projects within remit.
  • Implement safe systems and controls, understanding and aligning with Siemens Mobility health and safety policies.
  • Represent Siemens Mobility in meetings with senior stakeholders, including customer representatives at director level.
  • Provide mentorship and coaching to project and department team members.
Qualifications
  • Experience managing design, engineering, and hardware installation projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in senior leadership roles.
  • IMPA Level B, APM PMQ, or equivalent project management qualification.
  • Experience using Primavera, MS Project, MS Office, and Power BI.
