PWS Technical Services (UK) Ltd is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead end-to-end projects across modular buildings for public and private markets. You will direct contracts, drive strategic delivery plans, manage cash flow and ensure client satisfaction through effective liaison and service excellence.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong budgeting and operational oversight, and a proactive approach to process improvement across multiple sites and teams.

• Proven experience in a similar role within modular buildings or related sectors.
• Confidence, passion, tenacity and the ability to communicate at all levels.
• Budget, cost, financial or commercial management experience.
• Highly organized with advanced time and team management skills.
• Understanding of sites, projects, operations, contracts and supply chain management.
• Willingness to travel and full clean driving licence.

Senior Project Manager

The successful candidate will have proven experience in a similar role within the construction design and build or manufacturing and installation of modular buildings.

Our Client

Our client is able to provide bespoke and turnkey solutions tailored to key project requirements and drivers, which is fully supported by their state-of-the-art production and installation processes and technologies.

Our client has experienced a period of significant growth and indeed is set on an envious upwards trajectory over the next 5-10 years and consequently wishes to appoint a high calibre Senior Project Manager. The role will oversee holistic end-to-end aspects of numerous projects and frameworks across a range of clients. Success will be measured and achieved through effective management and servicing of clients, coupled with the focus upon maintaining net margins and a high level of staff satisfaction, whilst also liaising closely with the Group Operations Director in providing regular progress and general business reporting.

The Role

• To direct projects, contracts and daily operations with a hands-on approach to all activities
• Develop and implement strategic plans for successful contract delivery, ensuring that all goals are either achieved or bettered with an emphasis upon service excellence
• Effectively lead all activities regarding operations, construction, financial, staff, quality, health and safety and general process improvement
• To act as a focal point, helping to steer and guide your contracts forward, ensuring full client liaison and satisfaction, coupled with moving the company ahead by increasing service levels
• Working with the commercial team to ensure effective cash flow management and profitability of schemes under your control
• Producing management reports on time and co-operating with internal departments
• Hold regular review meetings with staff in developing a proactive focus upon quality, overheads, manpower, programming, organisation and delivery aspects
• Help to improve the supply chain and sub-contractor partnering process
• Ensure a high level of teamwork and cohesion between all levels of staff
• Chair and direct regular meetings with staff to discuss progress, whilst liaising with other senior managers in regard to process improvement and resource optimisation
• Ensure all projects are compliant with industry HSEQ obligations and company standards

The Person

• Proven experience in a similar role within the construction design and build or manufacturing and installation sectors of modular buildings.
• Possess confidence, passion, tenacity and drive, and the ability to communicate at all levels
• Project budget, cost, financial or commercial management experience
• Highly organised with advanced time and team management skills
• Understanding of sites, projects, operations, contracts, and supply chain management
• Implementing and enforcing company policies and objectives
• Ability to gain confidence of clients and teams, and maintain strong working relationships
• A keen interest in project process enhancement and procedural efficiency improvement
• Full clean driving licence, and relevant certifications, along with the willingness to travel
• Experience of successfully managing and delivering all aspects of multiple projects
• IT proficient in a range of project related industry software packages.
