Senior Project Manager - Railway Construction
Doncaster based with travel as required

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead and deliver several large, multi-disciplinary railway infrastructure schemes scheduled for launch in the coming year. This is a pivotal role within our organisation, offering the opportunity to work on high-profile projects that shape the future of UK rail.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex railway projects, with a strong emphasis on track-based schemes.
  • Manage multi-disciplinary teams across civil, track, signalling, and electrical disciplines.
  • Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Oversee commercial and contractual aspects of projects, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation.
  • Provide strategic input into project development and contribute to business growth.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
  • Proven track record in project management and delivery within the UK railway industry.
  • Extensive experience managing multi-disciplinary railway schemes, particularly track-based projects.
  • Degree educated or equivalent in a relevant engineering or construction discipline.
  • Holds current PTS (Personal Track Safety) and SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certifications.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Commercially and contractually astute, with experience in NEC or similar contract frameworks.

This is a permanant position with a salary, dependant on experience, and a company car or allowance.
