Project Manager - Senior
Role Summary

As part of our overall investment and growth strategy in the UK we are hiring Senior Project Managers to join our team.

  • The Senior Project Manager will lead the end-to-end delivery of a complex project, from initial planning to final deployment and close.
  • They will ensure that the specified objectives of the project in terms of time, scope, quality and value are met.
  • Over time you’ll have the opportunity to work on a range of assignments across a broad portfolio of client from many sectors e.g., Public Sector, Health, Finance, Energy, Transport, Retail, and Manufacturing.
  • You’ll thrive using agile methods and enjoy working collaboratively with business units and multidisciplinary teams.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in alignment with business goals.
  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation.
  • Monitor progress and ensure adherence to timelines, budget (Costs and revenues), and quality standards.
  • Serve as the main liaison between client business stakeholders, development teams, vendors, and wider stakeholders.
  • Facilitate regular status meetings and provide transparent communication on project health.
  • Manage expectations and resolve conflicts effectively.
  • Lead and motivate cross-functional teams including developers, testers, and business analysts. Ensure clarity of roles, responsibilities, and deliverables. Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks proactively. Implement contingency plans and elevate critical issues promptly. Maintain a risk register and ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational project management standards and methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid), tailoring the approach pragmatically to best meet the business objectives.
  • Prepare and present project status reports, dashboards, and KPIs to senior leadership.
  • Ensure that the project plan adheres and complies with any agreed contracts. Manage change requests and maintain proper documentation.
Essential Skills/Qualifications/Attributes
  • 6+ years practical experience in leading IT projects including at least 3 years in delivering software development, application modernisation or similar projects.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and associated methodologies.
  • Formal certification in project management e.g. PMI-PMP, Prince2 etc.
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Willingness to travel to client locations if required.
  • Eligibility for UK secure clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Desirable Skills/Qualifications/Attributes
  • Agile certification and practical delivery experience.
