Job description

Fixed-term contract (14 months) Start date 20 February 2026 London (Hybrid) Full time or 4.5 days a week £40,000 to £55,000 a year plus potential profit share bonus (pro-rated for a part-time role) Apply by 11pm on 4 January 2026

Quietroom is an insight-led communications consultancy. We’re here to make pensions, investment and insurance accessible to the people who need them. Our clients include pension schemes and providers, as well as asset managers, insurers and advisers.

What you’ll do

You'll project manage all work done by a 3-person content team. This will involve:

  • creating and maintaining project plans
  • ensuring all projects are delivered on time and on budget
  • pricing new work
  • building relationships with some of our most important clients

You can work from home or at our office on High Holborn as it suits you. But you’ll need to be in from time to time, such as for the all-company days we hold every 3 months. And you must be available for in-person client meetings.

This can be a full-time role or 4.5 days a week. But you must be available during our core hours of 10 to 4 on the days that you are working.

Who you are

You’ll already have a record of strong project management. Your experience could have been in an agency or consultancy environment.

What’s important is that you can plan, schedule and manage complex work with autonomy and confidence. And you’ll be confident in pricing that work. You’ll be happy interacting with clients, identifying their requirements and challenging them if they’re asking for the wrong thing.

You don’t have to know lots about financial services. But you do have to be willing to develop an interest in our clients and their world.

What we offer

As well as your salary and potential profit share bonus you’ll get:

  • matched pension contributions of up to 6% once you’ve been with us for 6 months
  • 25 days’ holiday, plus bank holidays and Christmas closure
  • employee assistance programme, for you and your family
  • regular team socials
How to apply

Please send an email to jobs@quietroom.co.uk with:

  • your CV
  • a cover letter explaining why we’d be a good fit for each other

What happens next

We’ll hold first-round interviews online in mid January where you’ll meet our Lead Account Manager El and a member of our content team, Cath. This interview will last no more than 1 hour. If you’re successful we’ll invite you for a second interview in‑person at our office in late January. During this interview you’ll meet our Lead Account Manager, James and we’ll ask you to complete a pretend task that tests your ability to manage and respond to competing priorities. You do not need to prepare for this task. This interview will last for just over 1 hour, including the task. We then hope to make a decision by the end of January. We are looking for candidates who are available to start by 20 February.

We know that the job market is tough right now. Too often, candidates go through processes that are time‑consuming and demoralising. We want you to have a good experience with our business. That’s why we promise to:

  • acknowledge your application
  • tell you quickly if your application hasn’t been successful
  • give you detailed feedback if we interview you – and invite you to reciprocate

We will not be able to give you detailed feedback if we do not invite you to interview.

The closing date is 11pm on 4 January 2026. NO AGENCIES PLEASE
