ABOUT TEMENOS

THE ROLE

You will be responsible for managing the global implementation of multiple Temenos product (Transact, Wealth Manager, Infinity ) projects for a single Temenos client or a group of related clients. You will also be responsible for managing the P&L of the project and ensuring that all costs are controlled, and revenues maximized. In addition, you will serve on the project steering committee and represent TEMENOS at the Clients' Steering Committee Meetings and participate in all decisions related to priorities, budgets and any other event affecting the rollout of the project.

OPPORTUNITIES
  • You will work together with Project Director or Program Manager and/or Area Services Manager to continuously align on strategy and variabilities of the project.
  • You will provide support to the Project Managers, Scrum Masters or Team leads to ensure the coordination of the delivery of the different phases of the project.
  • You will guide and direct the Project Managers, Scrum Masters or Team leads.
  • You will ensure that TEMENOS quality methods and standards are applied and maintained in project implementations.
  • You will prepare, agree and obtain sign off on a project definition.
  • You will acquire the resources required from TEMENOS, the client, or the external supplier to successfully complete the project(s).
  • You will monitor project progress against plan and address any project shortfalls.
  • You will elevate unresolved issues within TEMENOS to a point where they are satisfactorily resolved.
  • You will coordinate project related activities between various TEMENOS departments and the Client.
  • You will liaise with TEMENOS Senior Management on project/client issues to ensure a satisfactory conclusion.
  • You will supply TEMENOS Senior Management with Forecasts/Budgets within agreed timeframe. If required, you will act as a line manager for Project Managers, Scrum Masters.
  • You will manage Program P&L monthly and ensure delivery of project within agreed financial parameters.
  • You will actively seek opportunities to expand revenues generated from the Program.
  • You will act as primary focal point for Client Senior management and develop strong long term relationships.
  • You will participate in presales/sales activities to understand and agree feasibility of contractual undertakings prior to signing of contract.
SKILLS
  • You should have 10 years of experience in information systems project management, ideally in a banking environment.
  • You should have prior experience in the position of a Project/Implementation Manager on client site and possess IT technical and general leadership qualities. This job involves complex activities demanding considerable coordination to effectively achieve the job end results; therefore, one needs the ability to influence others at all levels, internally and externally, and prioritize and assess issues in a timely and effective manner. Fully understand and be able to deploy the TEMENOS Implementation.
  • You should have good understanding of Microsoft Project, TEMENOS Implementation Methodology. Ability to assess implications of banking and technology trends. Financial management and reporting experience is fundamental.
  • You should be certified with minimum PMI certification or TEMENOS Project Management certification or acquire TEMENOS certification within a defined timeframe (to be agreed with manager).
