Senior Project Manager

Location: London

Salary: £70,000 - £90,000

A leading construction and property consultancy is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join its growing team. The consultancy delivers high-quality project management, cost consultancy and strategic advisory services across the residential, mixed‑use and regeneration sectors, working closely with major house builders, developers and investors.

This role is ideal for a driven, client‑facing professional with strong technical capability and a proven track record of managing large‑scale new build and refurbishment schemes.

You will be responsible for leading projects ranging from £10m through to £170m masterplans, overseeing delivery across all stages and supporting key clients on complex developments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of complex new build and refurbishment projects for major house builders and residential developers.
• Manage projects through feasibility, design, procurement, construction and handover.
• Oversee programme management, cost control, risk management and stakeholder coordination.
• Work collaboratively with design teams, consultants and contractors to ensure successful outcomes.
• Prepare and present project reports, updates and strategic advice to clients.
• Ensure compliance with project briefs, quality standards, regulatory requirements and best practice guidelines.
• Support business development activity and help nurture long‑term client relationships.
• Mentor junior members of the project management team where appropriate.

Experience & Skills Required

• Strong construction background gained within leading consultancies.
• Demonstrable experience delivering large‑scale residential or mixed‑use projects.
• Experience of high‑rise and complex developments is highly advantageous.
• Excellent understanding of construction methodologies, procurement routes and project controls.
• Comfortable managing multidisciplinary teams across all RIBA stages.
• Strong commercial awareness and risk management capability.
• Exceptional communication, leadership and client‑facing skills.
• Professional qualifications (RICS, MAPM, MCIOB or similar) are desirable.
