Job summary

Carriera Limited, partnering with a well-established construction consultancy, is recruiting a Senior Project Manager for their Birmingham office. You will lead industrial and logistics projects from feasibility to handover, owning delivery, stakeholder management and programme performance within a collaborative team.

You'll manage multi-disciplinary teams, prepare reports and programmes, oversee procurement and contracts, and ensure EH&S and quality standards are met while building strong

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of project delivery processes across industrial and logistics sectors.
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously within consultancy or client-side environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with a proactive and client-facing approach.
• Confident preparing reports, programmes and project documentation to a high standard.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects through all stages from initial brief and feasibility through to completion and handover.
• Manage industrial and logistics projects across live operational environments.
• Coordinate and lead multi-disciplinary project teams, ensuring projects are delivered to programme, budget and quality expectations.
• Prepare and manage project programmes, progress reports and key stage reporting throughout the full project lifecycle.
• Chair project meetings, manage stakeholder communication and provide clear updates to clients and senior teams.
• Support procurement, tender and contractor appointment processes, including managing contractor queries during bidding stages.
• Administer NEC and JCT contracts, managing commercial, contractual and risk-related matters effectively.
• Ensure projects are delivered in line with Environmental, Health & Safety and Quality standards.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships while identifying opportunities for further business development.

The role will see you managing projects from feasibility through to completion, taking ownership across delivery, stakeholder management, commercial performance and programme management on a range of live operational schemes
