Major Recruitment Oldbury are delighted to be recruiting for our Halesowen based client who are seeking a Senior Project Engineer to work at their head office. The organisation specialise in security systems and access control so a background in this sector is essential.

Duties and tasks will include:

• Liaise with Sales team during system design and planning.
• Maintain H&S information throughout the projects.
• Management of multiple projects.
• Work with the sales team to program projects to meet customer deadlines and best suite the engineering resource.
• Produce site drawings for engineering team and keep the master set up to date.
• Liaise with site teams, these will include Main Contractor, M&E Contractors and end users, to ensure projects are running to program.
• Produce detailed as fitted drawings and O+M manuals.
• Management of inhouse engineering resource and Sub-contractors.
• Provide support for the engineering department.
• Provide technical support to the sales.
• Liaise with customers on small projects to arrange engineering attendance.
• Produce site files/drawings for the engineering teams.
• Meet engineering teams/ sub-contractors on site to start projects.
• Visit sites during the projects to ensure that quality and H&S standards are maintained.
• Commission and handover projects.
• Assist and provide guidance on installs as required.

Experience in the following systems:

• Access control: Salto, Paxton
• CCTV: Avigilon, HikVison, IPRO, Synectics, Hanwha
• Intruder: Galaxy, Eaton, Texecom
