Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking a Senior Project Engineer for a 6-month contract in Surrey. Responsibilities include ensuring communication between EPC and clients, managing engineering issues, and overseeing deliverables across disciplines. A hybrid work model is offered with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote. Ideal for candidates with a focus on compliance and engineering excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure good communication between EPC and clients and subcontractors.
  • Ensure engineering issues are well communicated within the team and with other non-engineering disciplines.
  • The discipline's timely review of client comments, subcontractor comments and return on design deliverables.
  • Compliance with the design basis and assurance that deliverables meet client needs.
  • Ensure that the engineering scope of work is clear and understood by the discipline leads.
  • Co-ordination and oversight across disciplines in the production of their deliverables to support progress goals and milestones.
  • Debottlenecking of technical issues across the disciplines.
  • Reporting and tracking of progress and key technical concerns to the engineering manager.
  • Attending and input to regular meetings with disciplines, client, vendors and subcontractors where appropriate.
  • Implementing technical corrective actions as necessary (lessons learned).
  • Ensure engineering focus on internal changes as well as changes to Contractors.

Location – Surrey office.

Rate £60p/hr Ltd (outside of IR35).

Hybrid working – 3 in, 2 remotely.
