Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment is seeking a Senior Project Engineer / Engineering Lead for a long-term contract in the North West, with hybrid working: 3 days in office, commutable from Lancaster and Preston. The role focuses on water and wastewater projects across feasibility, design development and technical assurance.

The candidate will review designs, challenge solutions and support projects from early development through to commissioning on a major water programme.

Qualifications

• Strong background in water or wastewater engineering.
• Experience in feasibility, design development, technical assurance or design reviews.
• Ability to challenge buildability, efficiency and technical suitability.

Senior Project Engineer / Engineering Lead

Location: North West — commutable from Lancaster, Preston and surrounding areas.
Hybrid — 3 days in office.
Contract Length: 1-2 years.
£450 per day – £650 per day, depending on experience (Outside IR35).

Role

The Person

• Strong technical background across water or wastewater engineering
• Significant WWTW experience for the core wastewater opportunities
• Experience in feasibility, design development, technical assurance or design review
• Able to challenge solutions around buildability, efficiency, value and technical suitability
• Background in civil, mechanical, electrical, MEICA, EICA, process or hydraulics
