KBR's Integrated Solutions is the engineering and project delivery group providing services which include front‑end and detailed engineering, procurement, construction services, and program management primarily in the hydrocarbons and energy transition industries.
KBR typically execute highly technical traditional energy projects but are also developing further into renewable energy. In the longer term as part of KBR's Project Engineering team, the candidate should have direct experience or be willing to adapt for new skills towards a broad range of areas including Onshore, Offshore, LNG, Floating, Refining and Petrochemical. KBR are equally committed to expanding in renewable energy sectors including wind, biofuel, carbon capture, solar and hydrogen.
We are looking for a Senior Project Engineer with significant Engineering Discipline experience to join our Project Engineering team.
The initial project activity will be to work in the Inside Sales team in the pursuit of a major LNG Detailed Design project, this will last up to 12 months. Upon completion of this activity you will join the Project Engineering Team and be mobilized onto projects in that function.
The Inside Sales role requires a good understanding of the commercial aspects of the bidding process and will involve close collaboration with operations, subject matter experts (SMEs), legal, finance, compliance, commercial and risk. This exposure will be invaluable for future career aspirations in Project and Engineering leadership. This requires someone that is highly organized and works well under pressure to meet deadlines. A high degree of analytical skills, a strong eye for detail and proficiency in excel analytics are essential.
