Overview

Job Title: Senior Project Engineer
Location: Oxfordshire
Salary: 40,000 - 60,000 per annum

We are currently seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join a leading engineering company based in Oxfordshire. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced engineer to lead complex design projects, manage supplier relationships, and act as the key liaison between internal teams and external stakeholders, with a strong focus on composite manufacturing.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the design and development of mechanical and composite components using CATIA V5.
  • Act as the main point of contact between internal engineering teams, suppliers, and clients.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Provide technical expertise on composite materials, tooling, and manufacturing processes.
  • Support the introduction of new products and design improvements.
  • Coordinate supplier activities and ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant engineering standards and company procedures.
Requirements
  • Degree in Mechanical, Automotive, or Aerospace Engineering (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience in project engineering within a design and manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in CATIA V5 (essential).
  • Experience working with composite manufacturing processes and materials.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience managing suppliers and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
