Job summary

The Environment Agency is seeking a Senior leader within Programme & Project Delivery (PPD) to head a technical team delivering flood risk studies and environmental projects in the Peterborough area.

You will recruit, onboard and train staff, manage a portfolio as Area Lead, and guide project and risk decisions while building strong relationships with customers and partners for successful outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Line management of a technical team including recruitment, onboarding and inductions.
• Programme managing a portfolio of work as Area Lead and tracking performance.
• Provide training, coaching and mentoring to team members.
• Troubleshoot and escalate project issues that teams cannot resolve.
• Build relationships with customers and partners to enable smooth project delivery.
