Senior Project Controls Manager

What you will need

• Significant experience in project controls, planning or cost management across the full project lifecycle
• Experienced in Primavera P6 and cost management systems
• British citizenship required
• Ability to obtain and maintain UK Security Check (SC) clearance
• Strong commercial awareness, ideally within a regulated environment or prime contract context

Salary and rewards

£80-85K plus hybrid working

Your role

• Lead and coach the project controls team to deliver high-performance results
• Ensure robust project controls are applied across all projects to mitigate risk and enhance profitability
• Develop departmental procedures and standards for performance measurement and control
• Support bid activity with credible plans, estimates and risk profiles
• Provide clear management information to aid decision-making

Your experience

• Technical capability: Earned Value Management (EVMS), project controls systems, scheduling and cost management
• Behavioural capability: strong communication, influencing senior leadership, mentoring and coaching team members
• Professional qualifications or membership in project management or control disciplines (e.g. MAPM, ChPP, PMP)
• Demonstrable ability to enforce adherence to processes and procedures in a team environment
