Job summary

Turner & Townsend is hiring a Project Controls Manager to support major construction projects in the UK. You will lead a multi-functional controls team, coordinate estimating and planning activities, and ensure robust cost and schedule baselines with effective change control.

The role requires experience in project controls, strong collaboration skills, and willingness to travel to client sites as needed.

Qualifications

Proven experience delivering Controls in a major project/programme environment.
Experience in managing a multi-functional controls team.
Proficiency with Primavera P6, Power BI and MS Office applications.
Knowledge of engineering, procurement, contracts, construction and startup processes.
Strong ability to lead collaborative workshops.

Responsibilities

Embed robust breakdown structure integrating data from controls functions.
Coordinate and lead estimating sessions to establish a market-tested cost baseline.
Lead planning sessions to compile the master project schedule baseline.
Manage procurement lead times within the schedule to meet install dates.
Oversee risk management with qualitative and quantitative assessments.
Engage stakeholders to sign off the baseline and provide regular progress updates.
Guide client and principal contractor to drive delivery and KPI achievement.
Control master program updates and change management efficiently.
Identify deviations and root causes to drive value for the client.
