Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment is seeking a Senior Project Controller for a large manufacturing company in Manchester. This is an office-based, permanent role with a strong focus on post-order installation projects and client-facing delivery.

You will handle delivery schedules, product information, and act as the main contact for project execution. The ideal candidate has manufacturing or installation background, B2B client-facing experience, and solid IT literacy (MS Office; SAP preferred).

Are you from a manufacturing or installation background looking for an interesting and fast paced project based role for a large manufacturing company? The role is an office based client facing, project based role, focused on the post order stage of installation projects. It requires excellent B2B customer service skills and experience-this is the key skill for this position.

The majority of the role will be hands on project controller activities but you will also act as the first point of escalation for more junior members of the team and help review their work at scrum meetings. Therefore it would be a great first step towards team leading and managerial roles for the right candidate. Excellent training and progression is available, and the company is known for its professionalism and job security.

The Role

Full time, office based permanent role with a large manufacturing company. Client facing project focused role, focused on post order installation projects. Projects include processing new orders, creating delivery schedules, creating product information sheets right through to completion and handover. Very client facing role, being the main contact for the project delivery. Some mentoring/checking of work of less experienced members of the team.

The Person

Working background in manufacturing or installation work. Experience in a B2B client facing position. Strong IT literacy including MS Office and ideally SAP. Any experience of project administration or coordination preferred.
