Job summary

The Woodland Trust is seeking a Senior Project Lead to manage, develop and fulfil the organisation's woodland creation projects from our Grantham head office, with hybrid working and monthly office attendance.

You will deliver free tree packs for schools and communities, oversee funding schemes, and collaborate with marketing, digital and fundraising to create case studies and digital systems. Travel to other offices may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering successful projects and adapting to changing needs.
• Budget management and forecasting to report to stakeholders.
• Strong collaboration to build stakeholder relationships and partnerships.
• Experience line managing a team and ensuring day-to-day efficiency.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and database management.
• Strong planning and organisation in a busy, target-driven environment.
• Experience representing the organisation internally and externally.
• Experience implementing change internally and externally.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the Woodland Trust's free tree packs for schools and communities against targets and funding requirements.
• Support marketing, communications, digital and fundraising to develop case studies and digital systems.
• Ensure adherence to statutory requirements and update guidance accordingly.
• Monitor scheme effectiveness, manage risks and opportunities.
• Line manage an effective team with support and guidance.
• Manage budgets, forecast spends, analyse costs and report to stakeholders.
• Hybrid role with home working and monthly head office attendance; occasional travel.
