Job summary

EQUANS is seeking a Senior Project Manager (PFI Hand Back) based in Worcester to lead handback programmes across the Central & Southwest unit. The role focuses on feasibility, planning, design, construction, and governance to ensure delivery on time, budget and contract obligations.

The ideal candidate will have a relevant degree, professional accreditation, and a track record in PFI or construction projects, with CSCS and NEBOSH qualifications highly regarded. Competitive package on offer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Engineering, Surveying, or a related field.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• CSCS Black Card, NEBOSH General (construction) certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee handback programmes and remedial works to ensure on-time delivery, within budget and specification.
• Lead health and safety performance and promote a culture of safety across the delivery unit.
• Ensure compliance with CDM Regulations 2015 and Building Safety Act 2022.
• Align with contractual obligations per project, adapting to project-specific requirements.
• Communicate expectations clearly to team members and stakeholders.
• Build and sustain a high-performance, collaborative delivery team.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Engineering, Surveying, or a related field

Master’s degree preferred
