General Dynamics UK Limited in Hastings is seeking a Senior Production Test & Repair Engineer to join the Test Development team, working on avionics and related electronic systems. This is a hands-on role focused on fault diagnosis, repair and production testing of complex assemblies.

An exciting opportunity to join General Dynamics, a leading‑edge defence company, as a Senior Production Test & Repair Engineer. This position would allow you to play an important role in our innovative Test Development team, working on avionics and possibly on land based armoured vehicle communication systems.
Join a team responsible for testing, fault diagnosis and repair of advanced avionics and mission‑critical electronic systems. This is a hands‑on engineering role focused on investigating product failures, diagnosing faults to component level, carrying out repair activities and supporting the resolution of complex electronic assembly failures.
We are particularly interested in engineers with strong electronics troubleshooting experience, including PCB fault‑finding, schematic interpretation, root cause analysis and component‑level repair.
Defence experience is not essential. Applications are welcomed from candidates within aerospace, rail, telecoms, industrial electronics, manufacturing, medical devices and other technically complex environments.

This role has a salary of between £45,600 and £57,000 plus our flexible benefits package.
