Greenjets, an innovative aerospace engineering company in the UK, seeks a Production Planning Lead to bring structure, visibility and direction to manufacturing plans. This senior IC role turns changing demand into a clear, achievable production plan the business can deliver.

You will work with Production, Engineering, Procurement, Programmes and Commercial to understand needs, challenge assumptions and record decisions, while navigating ambiguity in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in production planning, manufacturing planning or similar.
• Track record turning unclear or changing demand into workable plans.
• Ability to challenge requests and drive decisions across teams.
• Understanding of production processes, lead times and capacity.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and data handling.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the overall production plan.
• Turn changing demand into a clear, realistic schedule.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Procurement and Commercial.
• Identify and resolve conflicts between priorities, materials and deadlines.
• Present options and trade-offs to decision-makers.
• Keep teams aligned with the current plan and changes.
• Monitor capacity, lead times and constraints; act early when at risk.
• Support new products and changes to existing builds.
