Job summary

CBSbutler Holdings Limited trading as CBSbutler is seeking a Production Planner to own short- and medium-term production planning in a UK-based manufacturing operation, with onsite duties in Kidderminster. You will develop and manage production plans and schedules to ensure targets are met, coordinating with Production, Procurement, Materials, Quality and Engineering teams.

• Experience in Production Planning / Scheduling within manufacturing.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes, capacity and constraints.
• Experience with MRP/ERP systems; SAP is advantageous.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Leadership or supervisory experience is desirable, with leadership potential.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage production plans and schedules across multiple manufacturing processes.
• Monitor production progress, capacity and constraints, proactively addressing potential delays.
• Work closely with Production, Procurement, Materials, Quality and Engineering teams.
• Use MRP/ERP systems to ensure materials and components are available to support production.
• Maintain accurate planning data, BOMs, lead times and stock requirements.
• Monitor planning KPIs and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Take ownership of planning issues and drive solutions through to resolution.

We are looking for a Production Planner to take ownership of short- and medium-term production planning and scheduling, ensuring manufacturing activity is effectively planned and production targets are achieved.
