Senior Production Operator

Join Our Food Production Team at Total Bakery in Nottingham.

Location: The Compleat Food Group, Tottle Bakery, Queens Drive, Nottingham, NG2 1LU

Working Hours: 6am - 6pm or 7am – 7pm

Shift Patterns:

  • Shift Pattern 1: Sunday to Tuesday for 2 weeks and Sunday to Wednesday on the 3rd week, rotating shift pattern (35 hours per week). Pay: £605.23 per week
  • Shift Pattern 2: Wednesday to Saturday for 2 weeks and Thursday to Saturday on the third week, rotating (36.35 hours per week). Pay: £589.10 per week

We’re looking for experienced and motivated Skilled Production Operatives to join our Pre‑Bake and Post‑Bake Department and help us deliver the best to our customers, every day.

Your Role

As a Skilled Production Operator, you will be responsible for the efficient, safe, and hygienic operation of machinery within our production environment. You’ll lead by example, support process improvements, and help train others to ensure we consistently meet our production, quality, and safety targets.

  • Operate and monitor machinery in line with SOPs and health & safety standards
  • Ensure consistent product quality, hygiene, and compliance with CCPs
  • Carry out efficient product changeovers and end‑of‑run cleaning routines
  • Troubleshoot and elevate mechanical or process issues to Engineering teams
  • Provide support during product trials and continuous improvement projects
  • Train and support other Operatives, promoting a team‑focused culture
