The Oval Partnership is seeking a Senior Production Manager to oversee the manufacturing area and drive efficient processes for profitable growth. You will own KPIs such as OEE, wastage, and labour while leading and mentoring teams to meet targets.

The role emphasizes safety, collaboration with technical teams to maintain product quality, and driving CI initiatives across the operation to improve overall performance.

Qualifications

• Experience leading manufacturing teams in a food or FMCG environment preferred.
• Proven track record of delivering KPI improvements and cost reductions.
• Strong leadership, communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Job description

We are currently working with an exceptional business who are looking to add to their team with a senior production manager, the role will take responsibility for the overall performance of the manufacturing area, focussing on driving efficient process to enable profitable business growth.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for the overall performance of the manufacturing area, focussing on driving efficient process to enable profitable business growth.
• Work across the operation and own the KPI's across OEE, wastage labour etc.
• Work with the teams to understand where the challenges are in delivering against KPI's and work to put solutions in place to overcome.
• Lead, develop and mentor your direct reports to ensure that they have all of the tools and capability to deliver results through their teams.
• Ensure a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with the technical function to ensure product quality is always maintained.
• Drive CI initiatives across an operation, always looking for ways to improve performance.

Qualifications

• In order to be considered for this role you must have operated in a similar level role previously, ideally within food but FMCG could be considered for the right person.

• Be able to demonstrate how you have delivered results in the past.
