Qualifications

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Production Engineer to join a leading manufacturing organisation. This is a key role focused on driving process improvements, optimising production efficiency, and supporting the integration of new technologies. You will lead continuous improvement initiatives and collaborate across departments to ensure high‑quality, cost‑effective manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyse production data to identify opportunities for improvement in quality, delivery, and efficiency.
  • Lead Lean and Six Sigma‑based continuous improvement projects.
  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Support the implementation of new equipment and automation technologies.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
  • Provide training and guidance to production teams on updated processes and best practices.
  • Report on improvement project outcomes and present measurable results to management.
What We're Looking For
  • Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Lean / Six Sigma certification preferred (Black Belt advantageous).
  • Strong problem‑solving and process improvement skills.
  • Knowledge of quality systems and manufacturing best practices.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Experience with rubber / polymer manufacturing and automation will be an advantage.
