Job summary

Siemens Healthineers Radiopharma in the UK is seeking an Experienced Production Chemist to support the manufacture of radiopharmaceuticals within a GMP environment and contribute to a high-standards production culture.

Initially based at Northwood (Mount Vernon Hospital) with a future move to our Dunstable site, you will develop SOPs, operate specialized equipment including the cyclotron, ensure safety and compliance, and collaborate across sites to ensure timely supply of high-quality

Qualifications

• Experience in GMP pharmaceutical production.
• HND or higher in physical science or engineering.
• Good communication and problem solving skills.
• Aseptic production experience is an advantage.
• Radiopharmaceutical experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support development of standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Manufacture radiopharmaceuticals compliant with MA and cGMP requirements.
• Clean and maintain cleanrooms and equipment.
• Work a shift pattern that includes weekends.
• Maintain adequate stock levels of consumables.
• Ship dangerous goods in accordance with ADR regulations.
• Collaborate with colleagues across sites for process alignment.
• Operate the cyclotron particle accelerator.
• Stay current with legislation and developments related to PET radiopharmaceutical production.
• Assist with site preparation for audits and inspections.
