Aberdeen is seeking a Senior Product Tax Manager to lead tax input into product development and provide specialist guidance on fund and investment tax matters across Aberdeen’s public market funds. The role offers autonomy to enhance processes, governance and AI-enabled solutions.

The position requires working across Front Office, Distribution, Product, Finance, Operations and Legal, with multiple stakeholders and a blended working approach across Edinburgh, London or Dublin.

Qualifikationen

• Experience at Manager or Senior Manager level within asset management and product tax environments.
• Professional qualification such as CTA, ATT, ACA or ACCA.
• Excellent digital and data literacy, including using AI-enabled tools.
• Ability to communicate complex tax matters clearly to a wide range of stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and project management skills.

Aufgaben

• Lead tax oversight for fund launches, mergers, terminations and broader product development activities.
• Provide technical tax support and practical solutions across Front Office, Distribution, Product, Finance, Operations and Legal teams.
• Build strong relationships with external advisers, custodians and fund administrators to ensure effective tax governance and delivery.
• Maintain and enhance tax risk, control and compliance frameworks across the fund range.
• Drive adoption of AI-enabled and digital solutions that improve efficiency, oversight and tax knowledge management.
• Lead or provide senior tax input into strategic projects involving funds, investments and investment management activities.
