• Experience authoring safety documentation and technical reports.
• Experience in aircraft systems safety or support engineering safety.
• Registered engineer or working towards registration.
• Knowledge of the system/software engineering lifecycle.
• Understanding of relevant engineering standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead F-35 System Safety activities across BAE Systems contracts.
• Maintain and update safety documentation like Hazard Assessment Reports.
• Conduct safety assessments for new safety issues.
• Provide guidance to engineering teams on safety evaluations.
• Coach junior members on safety reporting.
