Job summary

Wise is seeking a Senior Product Manager to own and scale the fincrime controls and investigator tooling within the Wise Platform. You will collaborate with engineering, compliance, operations and commercial teams to reduce risk while enabling partner-scale growth.

You will shape the roadmap for partner-specific financial crime controls across fraud, AML, screening, and internal tooling, balancing risk and partner experience.

Responsibilities

• Own the roadmap for Wise Platform fincrime controls and investigator tooling, balancing risk mitigation, operational load, and partner experience.
• Lead cross-functional delivery across engineering, compliance, operations and partner teams.
• Develop deep domain understanding of Wise Platform partner models and fincrime risks in embedded/correspondent-like use cases versus consumer/business.
• Improve UX and user experience of internal tools and workflows used to review alerts/cases, making investigations faster, safer, and more consistent.
• Use data to drive decisions. Define success metrics, monitor effectiveness (and false positives/ops impact), and tune what we ship.
• Represent Wise Platform across Wise, ensuring alignment with broader control changes and building stakeholder relationships.

Job Description

We're looking for a Senior Product Manager to help build and scale a new fincrime product engineering team. You'll own the vision and roadmap for partner-specific financial crime controls across fraud, AML, screening, and internal tooling. You'll work closely with engineering, compliance, operations, partner experience and commercial teams to reduce risk and help Wise Platform scale safely.

What you'll be doing

• Own the roadmap for Wise Platform fincrime controls and investigator tooling, balancing risk mitigation, operational load, and partner experience.

• Lead cross-functional delivery across engineering, compliance, operations and partner teams. Turn problems into clear plans and ship improvements iteratively.

• Develop deep domain understanding of Wise Platform partner models and how fincrime risks present differently in embedded/correspondent-like use cases versus consumer/business.

• Improve UX and user experience of internal tools and workflows used to review alerts/cases, making investigations faster, safer, and more consistent.

• Use data to drive decisions. Define success metrics, monitor effectiveness (and false positives/ops impact), and continuously tune what we ship.

• Represent Wise Platform across Wise, ensuring alignment with broader control changes and building strong stakeholder relationships with other teams in fincrime domains.

Qualifications

What we're looking for

• Product management experience delivering meaningful outcomes in a cross-functional, operationally complex environment.

• Strong problem framing and prioritisation skills: you can take ambiguous risk/tooling issues and turn them into clear scope, milestones and trade-offs.

• Comfort working with technical and non-technical partners, and ability to communicate clearly with senior stakeholders.

• A delivery mindset: you can ship iteratively, measure impact, and adapt quickly.

Nice to have

• Exposure to financial crime domains (AML, transaction monitoring, fraud, screening, investigations), fintech risk, or internal tooling/case management products.

• Experience working on platform products / B2B integrations where partner impact and operational scalability are key considerations.
