Genius Sports is seeking a Senior Product Manager for the betting cluster to translate high-level roadmaps into concrete work items and align cross-functional teams across product, engineering, marketing and operations.

You will drive the product vision, define epics with acceptance criteria, and collaborate with squad leads to ensure a seamless user experience across products and verticals in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in Product Management roles.
• Experienced in front-end product development for sports betting.
• Proven ability to develop product strategy and manage roadmaps.
• Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban).
• Strong BI/Analytics background; data-oriented products preferred.
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
• Passionate about working in the betting industry.
• Team leadership and highly collaborative.

Responsibilities

• Maintain links to stakeholders across technical, commercial, support, marketing and operations using KPIs and OKRs.

• Produce relevant documentation to support product awareness and technical build.

About the role:

As Senior Product Manager for the betting cluster of Genius Sports, you will work closely with the VP of Product and delivery teams translating high level roadmaps into work items. Your focus will be consolidating our external and internal tools across many products and verticals into a seamless user experience.

Your responsibilities will cover both the strategic and tactical aspects of Product Management. The tactical aspects of the role require requirements scoping, definition of epic level acceptance criteria, working with the delivery team during planningphasesthroughout product delivery. You will work with the squad leads and architects toensure all aspects of delivery have been accounted for (this includes operational help, domain knowledgeshareand go-to-market strategy).

You will work with a committed and collaborative team of developers, QAs, PMs, Squad leads and SME’s who willassistyou in achieving shared product goals.

Key Responsibilities:

The What (Strategic)

• Work with the Product VP and other related stakeholders to produce the product vision, roadmap andidentifystrategic opportunities

• Translating product vision and roadmap into detailed work items in preparation for delivery

• Maintain strong links to key stakeholders across technical, commercial, support,marketingand operations in addition to key customersutilizingKPIs and OKRs for success

• Articulate vision and direction to the development team and stakeholders throughout the development, go-to-marketcycleand post launch analysis.

• Keep abreast of developments in the industry and with specific competitorsidentifyingthreats and opportunities

The How (Tactical)

• Support the operational running of the product on a day-to-day basis

• Managing the release to customers and go-to market strategy

• Define epics with comprehensive acceptance criteria, interacting with relevant stakeholders and subject matter experts to verify work is correctly specified and relevant assets (wireframes, designs) are included

• Verifying that epics are completed to the expectation set out in the acceptance criteria

• Work closely with Squad Lead to ensure alignment on all team and product matters

• Produce relevant documentation to support product awareness and technical build

Qualifications

• Experienced in Front End product development with a focus on sports betting

• 5+ years’ experience in Product Management roles

• Proven experience in developing a product strategy and effectively managing roadmaps.

• Experience with software product development methodologies,mainly focusedon agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.

• Deep experience in gathering and transforming product requirements into a practical product roadmap

• Strong background in BI and/or Analyticsrequired; experience working on data-oriented products preferred

• Outstanding written and oral communication skills

• Passionate about working in the betting industry

• Team leadership
