Job summary

Lancaster Resources Ltd is seeking a Senior Product Manager / Product Lead to own three new AI-powered products. You’ll work directly with the Chief Product Officer to shape strategy, establish roadmaps and take products from early concept through launch and commercialisation.

This is a hands-on delivery role at first, writing requirements, managing backlogs, developing test scripts and driving products forward. There is potential to build and lead a Product team as the business scales.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on product management experience in B2B SaaS or software products.
• Proven ability to own roadmaps, requirements, user stories and delivery.
• Experience taking products from concept to launch (0→1).
• Practical understanding of AI-powered products, including LLMs or Generative AI.
• Experience working with software engineering teams in Agile environments.
• Able to manage multiple products, priorities and customer requirements.
• Hands-on delivery mindset with willingness to write requirements and test scripts.

Responsibilities

• Own and develop product roadmaps across multiple AI-powered products.
• Translate business and customer requirements into briefs, user stories, acceptance criteria and test scripts.
• Manage product backlogs, prioritisation, sprint planning and day-to-day delivery with Engineering.
• Take products from early-stage concepts through to launch, onboarding and ongoing improvement.
• Work directly with customers to gather feedback, validate requirements and shape development.
• Support product positioning, pricing and go-to-market activities.
• Establish Product processes and ways of working, with potential to lead the function over time.

The Opportunity

We're working with a growing technology and transformation business that is investing heavily in developing three new AI-powered products.

This is a unique opportunity to become the founding Product hire, taking hands-on ownership of three AI-powered products, with the opportunity to build and lead the Product function as the business grows.

Working directly with the Chief Product Officer, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the product strategy, establishing roadmaps and taking products from early-stage development through to launch and commercialisation.

We're looking for an experienced, hands-on Senior Product Manager / Product Lead who genuinely enjoys being involved in the detail of product delivery.

While there is an opportunity to build and lead a Product team over time, initially this is very much a hands‑on delivery role, requiring someone comfortable rolling up their sleeves, writing requirements, managing backlogs, developing test scripts and personally driving products forward.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and develop product roadmaps across multiple AI-powered products.
• Translate business and customer requirements into detailed product briefs, user stories, acceptance criteria and test scripts.
• Manage product backlogs, prioritisation, sprint planning and day-to-day delivery alongside Engineering.
• Take products from early-stage concepts and pilots through to launch, onboarding and ongoing improvement.
• Work directly with customers to gather feedback, validate requirements and shape product development.
• Support product positioning, pricing and go-to-market activities.
• Establish Product processes and ways of working, with the opportunity to build and lead the function over time.

What We're Looking For

• Strong hands‑on Product Management experience, ideally within B2B SaaS or software products.
• Proven experience personally owning product roadmaps, requirements, user stories, testing and delivery.
• Experience taking products from concept through to launch (0→1).
• Practical understanding of AI-powered products, ideally including LLMs, Generative AI or AI agents.
• Experience working closely with software engineering teams in an Agile environment.
• Comfortable managing multiple products, priorities and customer requirements simultaneously.
• Strong product discovery, prioritisation and problem‑solving skills.
• Someone who enjoys being hands‑on rather than operating purely at a strategic or leadership level.
