What this job can offer you

This is an exciting time to join Remote and make a personal difference in the global employment space as a Senior Product Manager, joining our Product team. You'll have a massive impact on our organization, and will help create opportunities for millions of people around the world. As a Senior Product Manager at Remote, you'll be developing and guiding our strategy for one of our key product areas. You'll advance this vision by working with a cross‑functional engineering and design group to find our most important problems and shape iterative solutions towards them.

What you bring
  • Product Management experience in a high-growth company.
  • Experience in payroll, HR, benefits, tax, or similar fields.
  • Experience with complex calculations or rules engines.
  • Great judgment in both strategic and tactical decisions.
  • Demonstrable, self‑driven results that have moved a product in the right direction.
  • A strong sense of product design (UX).
  • A passion for products that “just work,” even when solving boring or complicated problems.
  • Outstanding collaboration skills across departments and business-level English proficiency.
  • Bonus: experience with data migrations, year‑end/periodic processes, or launching new countries/engines.
Key Responsibilities
  • Product Ownership:
    • Own the end‑to‑end experience, focusing on services powered by both humans and software.
    • Build solutions for payroll, benefits, and other Remote services.
    • Drive the product direction by building effective roadmaps and scaling plans for your area.
  • Form and share near‑term and long‑term strategic visions using market research and competitive analysis.
  • Contribute to tactical and strategic decision‑making for your business area.
  • Align team work and metrics to improve key business KPIs.
  • Work autonomously on features, leading solutions with minimal support from senior members.
  • Ship improvements iteratively and find minimal solutions to complex problems.
  • Support and lead a product team to deliver consistent ROI and throughput.
  • Work together with engineers, designers, and stakeholders to solve customer problems.
  • Communicate and promote your team’s work and its value to customers and internal teams.
  • Manage internal expectations for projects and features.
  • Work asynchronously and transparently.
  • Subject Matter Expertise:
    • Be the subject matter expert for your product area, specifically understanding and solving complex business problems (including mobile experiences).
    • Contribute to the broader Product organization by sharing techniques and learnings.

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location, and our job titles may span more than one career level. The actual base pay for the successful candidate in this role is dependent upon many factors such as location, transferable or job‑related skills, work experience, relevant training, business needs, and market demands. The base salary range may be subject to change.

At Remote, we foster internal mobility as a key element of our culture of employee growth and development, supported by a compensation philosophy that guarantees pay equity and fairness. Therefore, all compensation changes associated with an internal move will be reviewed by the Total Rewards & People Enablement team on a case‑by‑case basis.

The annual salary range for this full‑time position is

$54,900 – $154,400 USD
