I’m working with a growing UK organisation looking for an experienced Senior Product Manager to lead the discovery and product direction for a new workforce management platform supporting a large, distributed contractor workforce.
This is a high-autonomy role for someone who is comfortable taking a complex, poorly defined
operational problem, working out the right product and technology approach, and turning that into a clear roadmap the business can execute.
The organisation currently manages a workforce of around 800 contractors, with plans to scale significantly. A number of workforce processes remain heavily reliant on manual administration, email and disconnected systems. The goal is to determine the right future solution for managing this workforce more effectively and at scale.
You’ll lead discovery across areas including:
You’ll be expected to take ownership of the discovery process and ultimately provide:
This suits a senior, autonomous Product Manager who has personally owned discovery from ambiguity through to a clear product decision. We’re particularly interested in people who have experience with:
Experience within healthcare, staffing, recruitment technology, workforce management, marketplaces, care platforms or field services could all be relevant, but sector experience is less important than having solved a comparable problem.
The key question?
Have you personally taken a complicated operational problem with no obvious solution, led the discovery, decided what should be built or bought, and created a roadmap the business could actually execute?
If so, I’d be very interested in speaking with you.
