Job description

Our mission is to help dental and veterinary clinics make recurring payments as simple as paying by card. We want to make memberships (Plans) and patient finance seamless by ‘combining’ workflows with cards and tapping existing patient data.

There are two exciting trends affecting the primary care sector right now.

  • We believe all businesses are becoming internet businesses. Many clinics now actively ‘push’ online bookings and explore the benefits to handle phone calls with AI agents 24 / 7.
  • We believe all revenue is moving towards monthly payments. People pay for more and more ‘stuff’ with a subscription, from cars to music. Dentists and vets are well positioned to benefit due to the strong, recurring relationships with patients.

Today, we support over 5,000 dental practices across the UK. 100 more join our platform every month. Tabeo is the dominant market leader for patient finance and seeks to be the same for plans in 3 years. This exciting new, agentic AI solution will complement our existing payment products.

Tabeo is profitable. We seek to grow revenue by 50-60% per year and top £30 million per year in 2028.

We believe in a remote first approach to work and equip teams with perks and tools so they can thrive. However, we all come together 2x per year for our amazing ‘Team Weeks’. We previously met in Dubai, Lisbon, London and Athens. Next is a surprise!

About the role

Tabeo is redefining what “dental plans” mean by turning them into memberships. Modern, digital, and effortless. Our platform helps dental practices grow predictable revenue, build stronger patient relationships, and simplify their operations.

We’re hiring a Senior Product Designer to lead design for our Membership Product.

You’ll own the end-to-end design of the experience that dental teams use daily (to grow their membership base, manage patients, and understand performance), as well as how members interact with the product. It’s a complex workflow and data product that needs to feel simple, beautiful, and intuitive.

This is a role for a systems thinker and craft-obsessed designer who wants to create the “Shopify of Dental Memberships.”

Key Duties
  • User-Centric Design: Employ a user-centered design approach to understand and meet the needs of healthcare providers (from receptionists, practice managers, and clinicians), ensuring an intuitive and seamless user experience.
  • Product Innovation: Contribute to the development of innovative design solutions that enhance the functionality and aesthetic appeal of our platform, aligning with Tabeo's mission to simplify payments and administrative tasks.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to gather insights, iterate on designs, and ensure a cohesive and impactful user interface.
  • Design Advocacy: Confidently advocate for the user and the design vision, challenge assumptions constructively, influence stakeholders, and drive a clear design direction for the product.
  • Design Execution: Translate ideas into compelling user experiences through concept exploration and iterative design, while clearly communicating functionality across teams and business stakeholders.
  • Brand Consistency: Uphold and evolve Tabeo's brand identity across all design elements, maintaining a consistent and professional appearance throughout the platform.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage qualitative data and quantitative data to monitor the performance of certain user flows or screens.
  • Ad hoc projects: Occasional direct involvement with projects directly for the Senior Leadership Team on presentations, landing page work, illustrations and Videos.
  • Design system: Contribute to and evolve the design system to ensure it remains scalable, consistent, and aligned with the product’s growth.
Requirements
  • 5+ years as a Product Designer / UX / UI Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing successful design projects.
  • Experience designing multi-user or workflow-heavy B2B platforms
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
Nice to Have
  • Familiarity with the fintech, healthcare or SaaS platforms is a plus.
  • Experience designing for PMS, CRM, or payment systems
Benefits
  • Competitive salary
  • Employee share options
  • £2,000 per annual CPD package to be used at your discretion
  • Full kit for home office
  • Health insurance and life assurance (including dental and optical) for UK staff
  • Company trips
  • 24 days holiday annually, plus a day off on your birthday
  • Extended parental leave
  • Contributing pension scheme for UK staff
