Job summary

Aquent is partnering with a global technology brand to find a Senior Product Designer. This role centers on cross-functional collaboration across global teams to solve complex UI/UX challenges, crafting inclusive and intuitive interfaces for billions of users.

Based in South West London with three onsite days per week, the contract runs for 12 months at up to £394.81/day PAYE. You will influence product direction and present high-fidelity concepts to executives and partner teams.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Senior Product Designer or Interaction Designer.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating visual excellence and design thinking.
• English fluency with a second language to support diverse users.
• Comfort in fast-paced, matrixed environments with shifting priorities.
• Proficiency in Figma, Sketch and interactive prototyping tools.

• Partnering with engineering, product, and regional teams across the organization to solve complex UI/UX challenges for global audiences.
• Distilling highly intricate issues into clean, focused, and intuitive interface solutions that resonate worldwide.
• Rapidly context-switching between concurrent projects, driving clarity in ambiguous environments without a fixed roadmap.
• Rapidly prototyping, presenting concepts, and taking an active part in rigorous, collaborative group critique.
• Influencing product direction and presenting high-fidelity concepts directly to senior executives and partner teams, driving significant impact.

Must-Have Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Senior Product Designer or Interaction Designer working across mobile, web, or OS platforms.
• A compelling portfolio demonstrating visual excellence, innovative interaction design patterns, mastery of typography, and clear design thinking.
• Fluency in English plus a second language (particularly Arabic, Turkish, European, or Latin American languages) to cater to diverse user bases.
• Comfort operating effectively in fast-paced, matrixed environments with frequently changing priorities.
• Fluency in modern design tools such as Figma, Sketch, and various interactive prototyping tools.

What Will Set You Apart

• Hands-on experience with font development, advanced typography, or right-to-left (RTL) script design, showcasing a deep understanding of global design nuances.
